The Center for Professional Development (CPD) has opened a satellite location in McNutt Hall with new programming and resources aimed at helping students explore potential career paths and prepare for life after Dartmouth! Here’s a breakdown of our McNutt offerings. The news space is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Coaching
Students can meet with a career coach in person for a 30 min. private appointment to discuss a variety of topics, such as: career exploration, writing or revising your resume or cover letter; searching for jobs and internships; applying to graduate or professional school; preparing for interviews; and more!
Labs and Activities
The CPD has developed two career labs, composed of short but effective activities that focus on career exploration and making informed career decisions. Learn how your strengths, interests, and values can help you discover different opportunities, and practice valuable strategies that drive clarity and confidence when making important choices.
Headshots
CPD @ McNutt is home to our new state-of-the-art photo station, available free of charge. The photo booth is easy to use and takes just two minutes to get a professional headshot sent to yourself by email or text. Perfect for your LinkedIn profile or eportfolio! Stop by 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Mon.-Fri. and give it a try.
The CPD is excited to continue providing the same pivotal services to Dartmouth students, while building on our programming, resources, and expertise to keep pace with new developments in the career space. Whether you have a clear career path in mind or are still exploring, we encourage you to stop by McNutt to learn how we can support your unique needs and interests.
