Prepare for a Career Fair

Prepare for a Career Fair

Throughout the year, the CPD hosts career fairs to allow students to meet employers, many of whom are alumni, who are hiring for job and internship positions at their organizations. The fairs may be held in person on campus or virtually.

Career Fairs are open to undergraduates from all majors, and are an opportunity to:

  • Connect with employers to learn more about full time and/or internship opportunities.
  • Learn about the skills and experiences employers are seeking in new hires.
  • Meet alumni at various organizations and learn more about their career paths.
  • Explore the range of career opportunities that are available.
  • Expand your network.

Upcoming Fairs

Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 1-4PM ET
Looking for a summer internship or full-time job? Don’t miss this great opportunity to meet top employers from various industries at the Ivy+ Just in Time Virtual Career Fair on April 11!

Benefits of Participating:

  • Many diverse employers and opportunities! Registered employers who are hiring NOW for opportunities beginning in 2024 from across industries, including biotech, education, real estate, nonprofit, financial services, government, startups, healthcare, consulting (and more!) are eager to meet and recruit students.
  • It’s convenient! Set your schedule in advance of the event so it fits your schedule. Upon registering, students can sign-up for employer group sessions (~ 30 minutes) and/or 1:1 chats with an employer (10 minutes). While the event lasts three hours, you can attend as much or as little as desired within the timeframe.
  • Make connections and expand your network and knowledge of the opportunities available to you.

Undergraduates, graduate students, post-docs, and recent alumni of participating schools are welcome to attend. Registration opens March 15th!

Don’t forget to sign up for our optional Resume Book event, where employers attending the fair can access your public resume and proactively reach out to connect. Employers will have access prior, during, and after the event. Be sure to update your privacy settings to “community” or “employers” and upload your document to your Handshake profile and set it to be “visible”.

Students can schedule an appointment to meet with a coach to review their resume for the resume book and prepare for the fair!
